CABBAGE SALAD

1/3 cup GOOD olive oil
1/3 to 1/2 head Ontario cabbage (chopped & cut like slaw)
1 or 2 carrots cut into small bite-sized pieces
1 package Chinese noodles with broth package (Mr Noodles)
1/2 cup roasted sunflower seeds

Combine oil and soup flavour packet (add Steve’s) Blend and set aside
Combine seeds and crushed noodles and set aside
Chop up cabbage, carrots, onions; Blend
well in a large bowl, Pour dressing over all. Toss & chill.

 Save the noodles and sunflower seeds to add when you are ready to eat. 

This salad stores well for 2 days (maximum 3) BUT DON'T ADD THE NOODLES MIX

OPTIONAL

Warm this up with ˝ tsp of Steve’s
Add a bit of onions, thin sliced
Chop up a couple of hot pepper rings
Throw in some tiny cheese cubes
Celery is good too

Last time I added chopped strawberries AGAINST my wife’s wishes but she admitted that it was a go with the berries
